Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration

The level 2 certificate in Business Administration is aimed at individuals working in a business environment with some experience, usually from a role where they are supervised. Candidates want to develop a basic knowledge of the world of business and administration and gain a formal qualification. The qualification provides an insight into the principles and processes of Business and Administration and will aid career development for candidates.

To achieve a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Business and Administration the learner must achieve a minimum of 21 credits.

Candidates must complete two mandatory units:

  • Supporting the business environment
  • Working effectively in the business environment.

Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration

The level 3 Diploma in Business Administration is aimed at individuals working within the business environment who may wish to progress to a team leading or management role. Candidates will work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard. It assesses candidates abilities to carry out a range of non-routine administrative tasks in a senior role in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the work context and aids career progression.

To achieve a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration (QCF) the learner must achieve a minimum of 40 credits.

Candidates must complete two mandatory units:

  • Managing the business environment
  • Managing effective work in the business environment.
